ようこそ!

Greetings, Welcome to the 2010 Hokkaido English Challenge website! All of us at HEC are thrilled that you have expressed interest in this one-of-a-kind program. Year after year, students from all over Hokkaido come together to test their English abilities.

A talented group of finalists will be invited to attend a fun-filled week at HEC Camp this summer. On top of that, one lucky student in each category will be given the chance to hone their English skills — while immersing themselves in an exciting new culture — though a homestay in an English-speaking country of their choice!

The Hokkaido English Challenge has proven to be both rewarding for students and the teachers that work alongside them in preparation for the test. It’s success has led to many similar programs being initiated across Japan.

We have included all of the information that is necessary for registering students in the Challenge. If you have any comments or questions, please visit the “Contact Us” tab located at the top of the screen.

Ganbatte!
